I took this Reenactment Photograph at Historic Endview Plantation in Newport News, Va. Several very large realistic Reenactments are held on the huge Plantation grounds there each year where large earthworks have been dug for these events. In this Photograph, one can see all of the smoke rising from the black power of all the guns being fired. Here, the Confederate Troops continue their gallant forward progress on the battlefield reloading as they steadily advance upon the enemy. In the background, fallen Confederate Troops can be seen as.
