I took this Reenactment Photograph at Historic Endview Plantation in Newport News, Va. Several very large realistic Reenactments are held on the huge Plantation grounds there each year where large earthworks have been dug for these events. In this Photograph, Confederate Troops are reloading as they stand out in the open during their charge upon the enemy. Some who have fallen can be seen as well. This is a Sepia Photograph with a light Soft Focus added which really brings the viewer into this turbulent 19th century period.
